Talon Lacrosse is sponsoring a new Player of the Week contest on CollegeLAX for the 2007 MCLA regular season.
CollegeLAX Webmaster Sonny Pieper will be soliciting nominations each week via the CollegeLAX message forum and/or email from MCLA coaches, players, and fans. One MCLA player will be selected as the Talon Lacrosse Player of the Week from all of the nominations received.
The criteria for selecting the Talon Lacrosse Player of the Week is a MCLA player who honors the game of lacrosse through superior play and superior sportsmanship. Coaches are encouraged to nominate outstanding players who exhibit fine sportsmanship who otherwise may not show up on the stat sheet.
The winning player will be announced no later than Friday each week on the CollegeLAX website and that player will receive a prize pack from Talon Lacrosse including one state-of-the-art Talon Legend lacrosse shaft.
